Oil & Gas
Our global Oil & Gas practice consists of a network of more than 9,200 professionals with extensive experience working in the oil and gas industry. Our professionals have experience serving a wide range of companies — major international oil companies (the "super-majors"), independent exploration and production companies, oilfield services companies, independent refiners and national oil companies. In Australia the industry is heavily focused on liquefied natural gas (LNG) with three operating LNG facilities. Increased global demand has seen significant investment in LNG with more than $120 billion of projects underway including six additional major LNG facilities under construction.
EY is growing and developing our Oil & Gas practice to support clients through this rapid expansion of the industry. We advise our clients with regard to major capital programs and projects, finance, information technology, workforce planning and development, supply chain, enterprise risk, and large scale business transformation.
Mining & Metals
The Mining & Metals sector is EY’s largest industry sector, with almost 700 companies involved in mineral exploration, development and production. The sector comprises several of the world’s largest diversified resource companies, as well as a representation of potential future industry leaders in the mid-tier producers and junior miners.
EY’s Global Mining & Metals Centre performance improvement team advise clients with regard to finance, information technology, capital project and investment decisions, workforce planning and development, supply chain, enterprise risk, project management and large scale transformation.
