Our latest Country Attractiveness Indices show tightening government budgets are leaving the global renewables market in flux, and, although new clean energy investment reached unprecedented levels in 2010, climbing 30% to US$243b (€181b), some countries and technologies are finding economic conditions challenging.

Renewable energy country attractiveness indices – Issue 27

The country attractiveness indices provide scores for national renewable energy markets, renewable energy infrastructures and their suitability for individual technologies. Our report is published quarterly and ranks 27 countries in terms of their investment attractiveness for key technologies over the near and long-term. This includes onshore wind, offshore wind, solar PV, solar CSP, biomass and geothermal.
