Ernst & Young appoints new Oceania Banking and Capital Markets leader
Thursday, 27 October 2011 — Ernst & Young today announced the appointment of Paul Siviour to the role of Oceania Banking and Capital Markets leader.
Siviour joins Ernst & Young from Investec where he was a Senior Investment Banker prior to being appointed as the co-leader of its Private Bank in Australia in 2007.
He returns to Ernst & Young, having previously been a Partner in our Corporate Finance practice for 11 years and a member of the Board of Partners of Ernst & Young Australia for six years.
Ernst & Young’s Oceania Financial Services Managing Partner, Andrew Price says, “Paul brings with him a wealth of global banking capital, liquidity and risk knowledge.
“Importantly, he also played a critical part in a number of strategic growth acquisitions for both clients and the bank, during his time at Investec.
“He will lead our Banking and Capital Markets practice across Oceania, leading our teams as they work with clients in dealing with the key challenges and opportunities they face in the current market.”
