Young Tax Professional of the Year competition 2013

The YTPY is an international competition program where young & successful students chosen by different EMEIA countries participate to demonstrate their tax technical and professional skills and be chosen as the “Young Tax Professional of the Year”.

This Year the YTPY competition will be held in August 2013 in Copenhagen, Denmark.

The YTPY is a EY EMEIA competition organized especially for motivated Tax students.
During this five-day event students will get the opportunity to present a tax related subject/case to EY Tax professionals and to a jury of guest judges from various industries.  The cases will be prepared by the participants under supervision of a EY Tax professional for each country.
During a gala evening, the Young Tax Professional of the Year is elected based upon the presentation.

Just entering the competition will give you the opportunities, confidence and platform to launch your career. No matter where you choose to work.

But for the three finalists, there are added rewards, including:

1st prize : A 30-day round-the-world business trip built around 10-day working visits to key EY offices in London, Washington DC and Hong Kong. You will build a network of the world’s leading tax professionals for the rest of your life.
2nd prize: A 10-day visit to one of EY’s Tax Centers.
3rd prize: An invitation to take part in one of our exceptional EY International Client Conferences, where you will rub shoulders with some of our finest partners and most valued clients.

Participation at the YTPY is a very interesting learning opportunity for top students.  Because each country will support their nominated student with a local coach, the YTPY will offer a great experience to enhance their technical and communication skills on an international level.

How will the Belgian EY Tax nominee be selected?
