EY Belgium acquires advisory firm Taurus-i
EY expands its business intelligence, performance management and data-analytics portfolio
Brussels, 4 july 2013 – EY Belgium has announced the acquisition of Taurus-i, a consultancy player specialized in business intelligence, performance management and data-analytics. Thanks to this acquisition, EY Belgium will have a market leading position in the Belgian advisory market, as well as offering a range of specialised expertise services.
EY Belgium and Taurus-i have signed an agreement to combine their activities. Founded in 2004, Taurus-i is a consulting firm that generates approximately 3 million Euros in annual revenue and is considered one of the leading SAP implementation partners in the performance management domain in the Belgian market. Taurus-i has a strong client-focused track record with a strong footprint in retail and consumer products, FSO, Manufacturing and Services.
The transaction involves approximately 15 people, including 1 partner: Ingmar Christiaens. All people of their current office in Antwerp will be integrated in the EY offices in Antwerp and Brussels. The Taurus-i brand name will fade out in the coming weeks and they will fully operate under our EY brand name.
