Ernst & Young becomes an official supporter of the Rio 2016 Olympic Games
RIO DE JANEIRO, 8 SEPTEMBER 2011 – Ernst & Young is delighted to announce that it is an official supporter and exclusive provider of Professional Services in the Consulting category for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games. The deal will be the first Tier 2 category to be signed for Rio 2016, a critical agreement providing unique expertise and capabilities to facilitate staging the Games.
A ceremony, held today at the Copacabana Palace Hotel, Rio de Janeiro to announce the news was attended by James Turley, Chairman and CEO of Ernst & Young; Jorge Menegassi, CEO of Ernst & Young Terco; José Carlos Pinto, Consulting Partner of Ernst & Young Terco; Carlos Arthur Nuzman, President of Rio 2016; Leonardo Gryner, CEO of Rio 2016; and Maggie Sanchez, Chief Commercial and Marketing Officer of Rio 2016.
