Ernst & Young revisits the federal budget
(Toronto, 2 June, 2011) With Finance Minister Jim Flaherty saying he still worries the world could slip back into recession, all eyes will focus on the Conservative majority’s first federal budget next Monday, June 6.
The government says the budget will be similar to the version issued in March, but no one knows for sure how the plan will be tweaked or updated.
What are the budget’s implications for small businesses? How will corporate tax cuts affect companies, and the wider economy? Ernst & Young’s seasoned tax professionals are available to revisit the budget, and explain what it means for Canadian businesses and taxpayers. They can also break the budget down by industry and region.
