EY Entrepreneur Of The Year™
Wanted: successful and innovative entrepreneurs
The call for nominations for the 2016 competition has begun. Provided they have at least 40 employees, innovative and high-growth companies from any branch of industry can enter the competition to become EY Entrepreneur Of The Year™. Start-ups qualify if they employ at least five people.
After the closing date for applications, the most promising candidates are shortlisted and invited for interview in a process designed to examine the applicants’ innovative power and future potential. Particular emphasis is placed on the entrepreneurs’ personal commitment to employees and social responsibility.
An independent jury of highly qualified experts assesses the finalists and selects one winner for each of the four categories. The winners will be announced and presented with their awards at the awards ceremony in Lausanne on 28 October 2016.
One of the winners will also get a shot at international fame: as the Swiss representative at the "EY World Entrepreneur Of The Year™" forum in Monte Carlo in spring 2017. This global event features the best entrepreneurs from over 60 countries that now hold national Entrepreneur Of The Year competitions.
Nominations or recommendations for suitable candidates will also be considered.
The closing date for applications and nominations is 30 April 2016.
