How the winners are chosen

The Independent Judging Panel decides on the winners after undertaking a rigorous selection process.

After receiving all nominations, we undertake a thorough screening process where the nominees are evaluated based on the information provided in the nomination form. Our partners and team then meet with each nominee to gather additional information and compile reports for the judges’ deliberation.

The judging criteria conform to a single global standard adapted by all Entrepreneur Of The Year programs across the world. The Independent Judging Panel assesses the level of success of the nominees by the following six judging criteria.

Assessment criteria:

  • Entrepreneurial spirit
  • Financial performance
  • Strategic direction
  • National or global impact
  • Innovation
  • Personal integrity and influence
