After joining Tse Sui Luen Jewellery (TSL) in 2002, Annie Tse reformed the Group’s Enterprise Resource Planning system and greatly improved its operational efficiency.

In 2006, she joined the Board of Directors. Subsequently, during a critical and difficult period in the Group’s history in 2008, she was appointed as Chairman. One of her first decisions as Chairman was to revamp the Group’s internal structure. Going against tradition, she appointed external professionals from various industries to the management team, bringing new ideas and concepts into the Group, while at the same time continued with the implementation of the reforms of the Group’s business. She also redesigned the internal control system, and succeeded in getting the Group’s shares to resume trading on the HKEx shortly after assuming the role of Chairman. The Group’s stock price subsequently rose two and a half times compared with its price before the suspension of trading.

Annie Tse has the courage to undertake reform in areas such as company positioning, marketing promotion and customer shopping experience. Annie also actively involves in TSL’s jewellery design, striving for excellence in the product quality. From 2010 to 2012, the Group’s turnover maintained double-digit growth, which was in line with those of its sizable peers in the industry.

In addition, Annie has always been committed to putting staff as a priority and has built a unique culture that has significantly improved the morale of employees. Being open-minded and innovative, she has overcome formidable challenges to become one of the jewellery industry’s leading entrepreneurs.
