Albert Ng, Ernst & Young's Greater China, Sub-Area Managing Partner
  • Albert Ng
    Sub-Area Managing Partner

    Albert leads Ernst & Young's Greater China practice as the Sub-Area Managing Partner. In the course of his career, he has held a variety of leadership roles in the professional services industry. Albert became a member of Ernst & Young's highest management body, the Global Executive in July 2010.

    Albert has been awarded the "Magnolia Gold Award" by the Shanghai Government for his contribution to the development of Shanghai. Albert has also been actively involved in the domestic and overseas listing processes of numerous Chinese entities, and is a pioneer in China investment advisory consulting.


Ron Meyers, Ernst & Young's Greater China, Chief Operating Officer

    Chief Operating Officer

    Ron has been the Chief Operating Officer of Ernst & Young's Greater China practice since October 2009. In this role, Ron has been given responsibility for working with Albert to oversee all of our service line and administrative operations in Greater China.

    Ron brings to the role more than 30 years of experience with Ernst & Young. Ron began his career in the US and worked in a variety of offices. Ron has substantial client serving experience, particularly with large multinational companies in the Fortune 500 list. In 1996, Ron took on the role of Managing Partner of the US firm's Midwest Area Audit practice. Ron was transferred to Shanghai in 2006 to help establish best management practices in our China practice.


Edward Ho, Ernst & Young's Greater China, Managing Partner, Assurance

    Managing Partner, Assurance

    Edward is the Assurance Managing Partner of Greater China. He has extensive experience in providing general business advisory services and due diligence review services to multinational and listed clients in Hong Kong, mainland China and overseas on matters related to merger and acquisition, internal control improvement and financial management.

    Edward has served a wide variety of clients during the past 20 years. These include major financial institutions, securities and commodities dealing companies, manufacturing, retail and distribution, and multi-media. He has also assisted many major mainland China and Hong Kong companies in raising capital overseas.


Nigel Knight, Ernst & Young's Greater China, Managing Partner, Advisory

    Managing Partner, Advisory

    As well as being the Managing Partner of Ernst & Young's Greater China Advisory practice, Nigel is also the Performance Improvement Leader for the Asia-Pacific Area.

    Nigel has more than 20 years of experience across a range of senior consulting and international line management roles, primarily based in the Asia-Pacific region. His professional experience has centered on leadership and organizational change, and he has led and worked on transformation and management improvement programs in more than a dozen countries.


Bob Partridge, Ernst & Young's Greater China, Managing Partner, Transaction Advisory Services

    Managing Partner, Transaction Advisory Services

    Bob is the Transaction Advisory Services Managing Partner of Greater China. Since 2000, Bob has been involved in many Asian transactions and has assisted many major global and regional private equity firms and multi-national corporations in investing into Asia, including China, Korea, Thailand, Philippines and Singapore. Bob's primary focus is on serving private equity clients throughout Asia. Bob also has personally led some of the largest transactions in China. His industry experience includes technology, telecom, financial services, automotive, manufacturing, distribution, publishing, service industries, among others.


Joseph Lee, Ernst & Young's Greater China, Managing Partner, Tax

    Managing Partner, Tax

    Joseph leads Ernst & Young's Tax practice in the Greater China Sub-Area. Joseph has more than 20 years of experience in the profession and has assisted both multinational corporations and Chinese domestic clients in all aspects of China taxation and cross border issues since 1990.

    Joseph has extensive experience in structuring inbound investment for multinational corporations to China as well as structuring outbound Chinese investment. He is a frequent speaker at Chinese and international tax seminars and a regular contributor to various Chinese and international tax journals on China tax development.


Joe Tsang, Ernst & Young, Regional Managing Partner, China North

    Regional Managing Partner, China North

    Joe is the Managing Partner of China North. He has over 20 years of professional experience in serving clients in a wide range of industries, including technology, telecommunications, entertainment, real estate, construction and engineering, and iron and steel. Joe started providing professional services to clients in mainland China in the mid 1980s, and is specialized in assisting Chinese companies to go public in mainland China, Hong Kong and other overseas capital markets.

    Joe also has extensive experience in providing advisory services on corporate and debt restructuring, and merger and acquisition transactions. He has also led the Technology Industry Sector in China and the legacy Far East Area since 2006.


Philip Leung, Ernst & Young, Regional Managing Partner, China Central

    Regional Managing Partner, China Central

    Philip is the Regional Managing Partner of China Central. He joined the firm in 1982 and became a partner in 1994.

    Philip is a senior Assurance partner and has had extensive experience in serving clients in mainland China. Over the course of his career he has served a wide variety of multinational organizations as well as numerous major Chinese companies. Philip has in-depth experience in assisting clients in fund raising activities, particularly in IPOs, and was Ernst & Young's legacy Far East Area Strategic Growth Markets and IPO leader prior to his present role.


Ringo Choi, Ernst's & Young, Regional Managing Partner, China South

    Regional Managing Partner, China South

    Ringo is the Regional Managing Partner of China South. He returned to the accounting profession in 1995 after gaining valuable experience in the corporate finance division of an international merchant bank.

    Ringo has led many IPO projects listing in the "A share", "B share" and "H share" markets along with overseas IPO activities. He has been actively involved in providing assurance and business advisory services to clients in China since the late 1980s.


Agnes Chan, Ernst & Young, Regional Managing Partner, Hong Kong and Macau
  • Agnes Chan
    Regional Managing Partner, Hong Kong and Macau

    Agnes is the Regional Managing Partner of Hong Kong and Macau. She joined Ernst & Young's Australia firm in 1986 and returned to Hong Kong in 1991. She has more than 20 years of experience in serving clients in a wide range of industries. Agnes is a high profile member of Hong Kong's business community and is a regularly featured commentator in the media. She was named as one of the top tax advisors in Hong Kong by the International Tax Review consecutively in 2004, 2005 and 2006. She holds various positions in government and industry bodies, including acting as the Chairman of the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce – Taxation Committee, an appointed member of the Inland Revenue Department Users Committee, and a member of the Accounting Advisory Board of The University of Hong Kong School of Business. She also served as the President of the Zonta Club of Hong Kong from 2004 to 2006.


James Wang, Ernst & Young, Regional Managing Partner, Taiwan

    James is the Regional Managing Partner of Taiwan. He joined Ernst & Young Taiwan in 1987.

    Throughout his career with Ernst & Young, James has served many well-known listed and multinational companies. James also actively participates in the formulation of government policies.


Raymond Woo, Markets Leader

    Markets Leader

    Raymond is the Greater China Markets Leader. In his role, Raymond is responsible for coordinating our overall geographic and service line efforts to maximize revenue growth. Raymond also plays the advisory role on a number of our most significant clients.

    Raymond has more than 30 years of professional experience, specializing in providing IPO, audit and advisory services to Chinese companies. He also has extensive experience in corporate restructuring and forensic investigation, and in providing other advisory services such as risk management, corporate governance, and mergers and acquisitions.


Paul Go, Accounts and Business Development Leader

    Accounts and Business Development Leader

    Paul is the Accounts and Business Development Leader of Greater China. Paul has more than 23 years of professional experience and was previously a Listing Committee Member of the Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited from 2007 to 2009.

    Paul has worked with many privately owned businesses and large state owned enterprises on IPO projects, and has also been involved in providing advisory services in risk management and internal controls. Paul is now responsible for the development and coordination of the Ernst & Young Greater China practice's largest client accounts.


Alden Leung, Ernst & Young's Greater China, Quality and Risk Management Leader

    Quality and Risk Management Leader

    Alden is the Q&RM Leader of Greater China. Previous to his current role, Alden was the Professional Practice Director (PPD) of Ernst & Young, China and the legacy Far East Area IFRS Leader. Alden is a representative of Ernst & Young on the Big 4+2 Global Public Policy Committee and the Global Regulatory Working Group.

    Alden has extensive experience in professional practice and regulatory matters. He has been appointed by the mainland China and Hong Kong regulatory authorities and professional bodies to various committees and working groups for a wide range of professional matters, such as accounting, auditing and ethical standards; practice review and sanctions; regulatory reform; and professional examinations.


Michael Wong, Ernst & Young's Greater China, People Leader
  • Michael Wong
    People Leader

    Michael was appointed Greater China People Leader in July 2010. Michael joined Ernst & Young as the National Human Resources Director for China in June 2007. He became a partner in July 2008 and was also the Assurance and Advisory People Leader of the legacy Far East Area.

    Before joining Ernst & Young, Michael gained extensive HR experience working with other major professional service firms and multinational companies.
