Milestones 2011: high-growth enterprises IPO seminars We cordially invite you to our Milestones 2011 IPO seminar for high-growth companies. The seminar will be hosted by Ernst & Young from June to September 2011 in these 11 large cities: Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Fuzhou, Nanjing, Xi’An, Shenyang, Wuhan and Changsha. For a company, going public is not only a very important decision but also a major turning point in its development process. While an IPO provides capital and growth opportunities, it requires enterprises to prepare well, including the selection of IPO structure and location, arrangements for the financing structure, equity incentive plans, corporate restructuring, tax planning and corporate governance. Further aspects include deliberation of the selling points, the IPO timetable, the additional legal responsibilities that arise, and the requirements to be addressed subsequent to an IPO. Therefore, companies that are interested in an IPO need to have a comprehensive understanding of both the implications and challenges of going public. The Milestones 2011 IPO seminar aims to help companies develop a pre-listing plan, taking as its theme the IPO process and the important milestones of the different stages, to enable companies to be poised to go public. The seminar will be an opportunity for an open and candid discussion and mutual exchange to help companies design a blueprint for future development. During this half-day seminar, to be held separately in major cities in China, partners from Ernst & Young’s Assurance, Tax and Transactions services, our IPO leaders and our guest speakers will share experiences and exchange strategies with participants on the process of helping companies to go public.
