Ernst & Young and Fudan Most Promising Chinese Enterprises 2012 is an awards program open to the public. The key objective of the Awards is, at an early emerging stage, to discover tomorrow’s industry leaders today.

As you may know, the 2011 Ernst & Young China Most Promising Enterprises awards last year attracted overwhelming responses and support from emerging companies, and drew a wide public attention and recognition.
This year, the Awards will be jointly hosted by Ernst & Young and the School of Management, Fudan University, one of the top business schools in China. Through nominations open to the public, the Awards aim to recognize sustainable fast growth emerging companies.
The panel of judges will consider the following key aspects of a nominee:
- Sound and sustainable growth potential
- Compete nationally and multi-nationally
- Obvious competitive edge
Nomination criteria
1. Open public nomination
A nominee has to meet the following basic requirements:
- No publicly traded equity securities
- Over 100 employees in the last financial year
- Sales revenue not less than RMB 100 million in the last financial year (may be less for new industries)
- Average annual growth in sales revenue of not less than 30% over the past 2 financial years
2. Recommendation by the panel of judges
The panel of judges, comprising partners of Ernst & Young and senior professors and scholars of the School of Management, Fudan University, will make their recommendations to ensure the nomination of qualified high growth companies to the Awards.

The company you nominate may be one of the winners of the Awards, and accordingly being recognized as one of the China’s most promising enterprises.
The nominee should possess with sustainable growth potential, remarkable financial performance (e.g., sales revenue, net profit, cash flow) in recent years, sound corporate structure, strong future growth potential (e.g., a reasonable size of research team, good research and development capability), obvious competitive edge, with clear long-term investment strategy in developing new future competitive edges and maintaining sustainable growth.
Anyone who is affiliated to a qualified company, such as industry expert, customer, supplier, banker, professionals, employee or management, or the spouse of the above are eligible to nominate.
A member of the senior management may nominate his or her own company. After all, senior management is in a much better position than an outsider in knowing his or her own company and its achievements.
All information in the nomination form will be kept strictly confidential and will only be used by the judges from Ernst & Young and the School of Management, Fudan University, for the purpose of the Awards. Only certain information of the winners of the Awards will be disclosed.

Judging process
The winners will be decided by the judges from Ernst & Young and the School of Management, Fudan University, after vigorous assessments.
The panel of judges comprises of Ernst & Young partners and senior professors and scholars from the School of Management, Fudan University.
When the nominations are received, assessments will be carried out based on information provided by nominees. Onsite visits will be arranged to interview the nominees and to obtain further information to facilitate the assessment of the panel of judges.
