EY’s Young Tax Professional of the Year is an international tax contest allowing successful tax students to test and demonstrate their technical and professional tax skills.
The winner gets the chance to participate in the International finals and an internship at EY.
Winners of the Danish competition 2014

2nd place: Aysil Sahin
3rd place: Philip Hulgaard
Students from all over the world attend and the competition runs in two stages – a national and an international contest.
Stage 1 – National contest
Ccompete against the best tax minds in Denmark to become the national finalist. You and your team members solve a case centered around corporate tax. The national winner will be appointed by a jury. Excel here and you may win the title and advance to the international finals in Amsterdam.
Stage 2 – International finals
In the course of the international contest, national finalists will work closely with young professionals from other cultures and backgrounds from across the world. You will be presented with challenges in the form of case studies and be interviewed by the expert panel, who will eventually select three finalists. The winner will be announced at the prestigious awards ceremony.
This year’s international finals will held in Amsterdam in December.
