- What is the World Entrepreneur Of The Year Award?
Every year’s country winners around the world gather in Monte Carlo, Monaco, to be inducted into the World Entrepreneur Of The Year Academy and vie for the title of the World Entrepreneur Of The Year. This year more than 60 countries worldwide are participating from around 145 cities and six continents.
- When does the nomination process begin and how do I receive notification?
Entries open on December/January of every year. To ensure you are notified, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with a request to be added to the distribution list.
- Who can submit a nomination for consideration?
Anyone who is associated with a successful entrepreneur can nominate a candidate. This includes spouses, employees, bankers, attorneys, public relations managers or entrepreneurs themselves.
- Are entry forms kept confidential?
Yes. The information on the application form will be used by EY (in connection with the administration of the award), the sponsors (non-financial information), and the independent national and regional panels of judges.
- Who are the judges?
Judges include former winners of Entrepreneur Of The Year, national and global business leaders, business investors and the leaders of social entrepreneurial organizations. The judges play an active role, offering advice and mentoring as well as judgment.
- How many award recipients will be selected?
Each independent regional judging panel selects categories and award recipients based on the quality and quantity of the nominations received. Each independent panel of judges is allowed complete discretion in determining categories and award recipients.
