The official language is classical Arabic. The country's distinctive Arabic dialect is called Moroccan Arabic. French is the unofficial second language and serves as Morocco’s primary language of commerce and economics. It is widely used in education and government along with Spanish. English is far behind French and Spanish is rapidly becoming the second foreign language of choice among educated youth (after French). The local/standard time is GMT.
Morocco's economy is considered as a relatively liberal economy. The economic system of the country presents several facets. It is characterized by a large opening towards the outside world.
