The atmosphere is thick with anticipation but the waiting will soon be over. The judges have now met all the World Entrepreneur Of The Year 2009 candidates and right now are meeting to make their final decision.
The excitement has been noticeably building for the past two days as the big moment approaches, although many participants have appeared considerably more relaxed once their interview with the judges was done!
All that remains is for the competitors, judges and their Ernst & Young hosts to don their finery for tonight’s gala dinner. During the awards ceremony, each country winner will be recognized and inducted into the World Entrepreneur Of The Year Academy. Following the induction ceremony, Jim Turley, Chairman and CEO of Ernst & Young, will announce the World Entrepreneur Of The Year 2009. And then the road to World Entrepreneur Of The Year 2010 begins.
Summing up the potential that entrepreneurs represent to society, one country winner said: “Entrepreneurs see a virtual reality: something that does not exist but that can be created. With hard work it can be turned into reality. You must create a vision and give it to the world.”
