As Global Managing Partner – Markets, John leads Ernst & Young's client-serving activities across all markets, and has a pivotal role in helping our client-serving teams deliver seamless, consistent, high-quality client service, worldwide.
This includes working with our assurance, advisory, tax and transactions practitioners in addressing the issues facing global, national and entrepreneurial companies around the world.
In addition, John works closely with the Ernst & Young People and Quality and Risk Management teams in strengthening a leading learning, mobility and quality culture.
Previous experience John has many years of client-service experience, specializing in both assurance and advisory services. Since joining Ernst & Young in 1974, John has held a number of senior leadership roles in Canada and was formerly Americas Risk Advisory Services leader. Most recently, he was Global Vice Chair for Assurance and Advisory Business Service (AABS), and has been a member of the Ernst & Young Global Executive since 2007.
Credentials John graduated from the University of Western Ontario in 1974, with a BA in Economics. He is a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants, and a member of the Canadian Association of Management Consultants.
