Global Vice Chair – Advisory

Norman leads our 42,000-person-strong Global Advisory practice, one of the broadest global advisory networks of any professional-services organization.

For Advisory, a better working world means solving big, complex industry issues and capitalizing on opportunities to help deliver outcomes that grow, optimize and protect our clients' businesses.

Previous experience

Norman joined the UK firm in 2006 and was appointed Global Chief Operating Officer of the Business Advisory Services (BAS) practice where he led the build of our consultancy business including our Performance Improvement and Risk practices. In 2008, he was given overall responsibility for Advisory and joined the main board in 2009.

Norman has many years of client-service experience and worked with a number of major global clients. Prior to joining EY he was Chief Information Officer of International Operations at Anheuser-Busch before joining PwC in 1996. He moved to IBM in 2002 as part of IBM's acquisition of PwC Consulting, where he held several leadership roles, including EMEIA Financial Services leader.
