Norman leads our 34,000-person-strong Global Advisory practice, one of the broadest global advisory networks of any professional-services organization.

EY’s Advisory teams work with leading organizations to help them transform their business performance, while also managing risk and monitoring improvements so they can sustain their performance over time.

Previous experience

Norman joined the UK firm in 2006 and was appointed Global Chief Operating Officer of the Business Advisory Services (BAS) practice where he led the development of the solutions, methods, tools, learning and knowledge infrastructure. In 2008, he was given overall responsibility for Advisory, bringing together BAS and Risk Advisory Services.

Norman has many years of client-service experience and worked with a number of major clients. He was Chief Information Officer of International Operations at Anheuser-Busch before joining PwC in 1996. He moved to IBM in 2002 as part of IBM's acquisition of PwC Consulting, where he held several leadership roles, including EMEIA Financial Services leader.
