Kristina is an experienced senior leader in the areas of strategic marketing, corporate strategy, and global business development. Her areas of depth and expertise include new concept and offer development, market entry strategy, strategic category management, profitable growth planning, strategic marketing, and market evolution planning in both the B2C and B2B marketplaces.
As Global Sector Leader for Consumer Products and Retail, Kristina is responsible for shaping the strategy and enabling the implementation of EY’s go-to-market strategy in the sector. Prior to her current role, she served as Emerging Markets Leader for Consumer Products and Retail.
Before joining EY, the Harvard Business School alumnus was a Senior Partner at Monitor Group, a global strategy consulting firm, co-leading their Middle East Management Team.
Kristina is an ambassador for EY’s global approach having lived and worked in more than 20 countries, including Canada, the US, the UK, the UAE, South Africa and Turkey, where she currently resides. Over the course of her career, Kristina has had long-term client relationships with some of the world’s largest global consumer products companies including Coca Cola, Cadbury, Procter & Gamble, and Shell (retail forecourts) helping them to solve some of their most complex strategic marketing issues across geographies.
Kristina is currently a member of the Financial Times’ ‘Global Board Ready Women’ group and was chosen as one of 40 high-potential women by Forbes Magazine in Turkey to join the ‘More Women on Boards’ program. Kristina currently sits on the Corporate Marketing Advisory Board at Medtronic.
Kristina received an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree with High Distinction from Queen’s University in Canada and an MBA degree from Harvard University.
In her spare time, Kristina enjoys photography, scuba diving. and Canadian fiction. She is a mother of two – a daughter 11, and a son 8.
