The expectations of managers and investors are increasingly aligned. Both foresee increasing regulatory intrusion (and its accompanying costs) as the biggest trend in the next one to two years.

Although many managers expect consolidation in the industry, we expect fragmentation will continue. We see little evidence of industry consolidation so far.
