Innovation in Europe
We believe innovation by European businesses and organizations is increasingly a principal source of growth and competitiveness.
With the closing chapter of the financial crisis yet to be written, there is little doubt that generating sustained economic growth and prosperity will challenge the best and brightest of today’s generation of European leaders.
But this is not a task for policy-makers alone.
To emerge into the dawn of global economic recovery, and to safeguard European jobs, living standards and businesses, we need an approach that can unite citizens, businesses and government.
A policy that is better coordinated, and flexible enough to be able to adapt to the demands of the market, will create the environment for innovation to flourish, transforming new ideas into new businesses and new solutions.

Our Next Generation Innovation Policy report was the result of the study.
