The Ernst & Young IPSAS network

We have created a comprehensive IPSAS network within our organization. Two Ernst & Young partners serve as Members at the IPSAS-Board. Led by Thomas Müller-Marqués Berger, our IPSAS Leader who also serves on the IPSAS Board, it comprises more than 200 professionals.

The network fosters the worldwide transfer of IPSAS knowledge and the consistent application of the standards by our teams worldwide. This specialist group meets regularly to coordinate the latest developments on IPSAS, their conversion into practice and to discuss current IPSAS projects.

Our IPSAS network recently contributed to the discussion on the suitability of the IPSAS for the EU Member States.

Ernst & Young and CIPFA — Combined excellence in Public Financial Management and Reporting

As more governments recognize that IPSAS represents the future for public financial reporting and start preparing for this shift, we have joined forces with CIPFA, the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy.

Our global strength and experience from working on IPSAS projects in countries in every region of the world is enhanced by CIPFA’s experience in professional capacity development and certified financial management training.

We support Public Finance International, an online forum which provides news and comments on global public financial management issues.
