Jeffrey A. Sonnenfeld is Senior Associate Dean for Executive Programs at Yale's School of Management and The Lester Crown Professor of Management Practice, as well as the Founder and President of The Yale Chief Executive Leadership Institute, the world's first school for CEOs. Under his leadership, Yale executive programs have grown from 100 executives a year to 4,000 a year. He is an authority on CEO leadership and corporate governance. Sonnenfeld has hosted and led CEO Summits in Beijing in conjunction with the Beijing Olympics and Shanghai Expo 2010 and has worked closely on leadership programs for the Chinese Communist Party's Organization Department and the top provincial officials of Guangdong and major Chinese enterprises. Named one of the world's 10 most influential business school professors in BusinessWeek and one of the 100 most influential figures in governance in Directorship, Sonnenfeld is a speaker, regular TV commentator, columnist and author of seven books and 200 scholarly articles. He received his AB, MBA and doctorate from Harvard University, where he served as a professor for a decade.
