Ernst & Young Strategic Growth Forum® 2012: "Transition in China"
The most intensely watched leadership transition in Chinese postwar history – the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China – takes place in Beijing beginning November 8. At stake are long-term policies for economic growth, business development, investment abroad, US relations, and the rise of the world's largest middle class.
Join moderator Rich Jeanneret, Americas Vice Chair, Transaction Advisory Services; and Dr. Robert Lawrence Kuhn, Senior Advisor, Office of the Chairman, Ernst & Young Global Limited, for "Transition in China." A widely cited expert on Chinese political and economic issues, Dr. Kuhn will be embedded in Beijing during the Congress and will join us via a live video feed.
Also sharing insights during the lunch session will be Nicholas Lardy, Senior Fellow at the Peterson Institute for International Economics. In this working lunch participants will hear, and discuss, the impact of key leadership and policy shifts in China that will affect business strategies. (This event will be recorded and posted at a later date.)
