Oil & Gas
Global LNG growth and the impacts on natural gas pricing
The expected strong growth in Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) demand will face even stronger growth in supply capacity, some with sharply lower cost structures.
With the supply and demand dynamics aside, the biggest potential impacts are on LNG pricing. Oil and gas professionals from the EY network and Washington Council EY (WCEY) will examine how a pricing model shift in global LNG markets might evolve and how it may affect the US and the rest of the world. Will oil-price linkages continue to dominate global LNG contract pricing? Will there be room for spot gas price linkages, and will divergent regional gas prices show signs of convergence?
Join our panel as we discuss:
- LNG supply and demand
- Overarching economic issues—costs and pricing
- Potential new LNG exporting markets
- Risks and challenges
During this live, interactive webcast, you will have the opportunity to ask questions through the website and the panelists will answer as many as time permits.
