Kristin Ciriello Pothier

EY

Kristin Ciriello Pothier is a Principal in the Boston-based EY Commercial Advisory Services practice, focusing on company and investor commercial strategy and M&A support for diagnostics, life science research, and pharmaceutical companies. She has 18 years of experience in management consulting and genomics research in the life sciences industry.

Prior to joining EY, Kristin was a Partner at Health Advances where she developed and led the Diagnostics and Life Sciences practice, a global practice focused on product and service strategy, corporate strategy, health economics and deal diligence. While at Health Advances, she spent 11 years advising diagnostics and life sciences companies on commercial strategy and performing due diligence for both strategics and investors.

Kristin is also a founder of DxInsights, a non-profit organization designed to educate on the impact of diagnostics in improving health care outcomes to the nation's healthcare communities.

Kristin is a noted speaker, workshop leader, and writer in the life sciences space, with multiple recent publications on clinical diagnostics and personalized medicine.

 

Kripa Rajshekhar

EY

Kripa Rajshekhar is a Principal in the EY Commercial Advisory Services practice and focuses on M&A due diligence advisory and inorganic strategy development, including portfolio optimization and capital allocation. He has assisted more than 150 private equity and strategic buyers across industries, including technology, heavy engineering and industrial products.

Kripa’s experience spans strategic cross-border market assessments, portfolio and business plan reviews, and non-core asset monetization. He has helped executive teams and boards, at companies with revenues of $500 million to $60 billion, develop robust portfolio management and capital efficient strategic planning processes.

 

Charles Sweat

Earthbound Farms

Charles Sweat joined Earthbound Farm in 1998 as chief financial officer and soon was appointed chief operating officer.

Since November 2006, he has served as president of the company and, in July 2009, took on the role of chief executive officer. During 13 years with Earthbound Farm, the company has established itself as the nation's largest producer of organic produce and specialty salads, growing from $10 million in annual organic produce sales to more than $500 million.

Today, Earthbound Farm’s organic produce is grown on more than 40,000 acres, keeping more than 14 million pounds of harmful chemicals out of the air, water, and food supply. The company has a greater than 50 percent share of U.S. organic salad sales.

Sweat led the company’s response and recovery following the 2006 spinach recall, including the establishment of an unprecedented food-safety program in fresh produce, which remains the most rigorous in the industry. In 2009, on behalf of the founders, owners, and employees of Earthbound Farm, he led the deal that brought private equity firm HM Capital Partners into the ownership group.

 

John Woodby

Ernst & Young Capital Advisors, LLC

John Woodby is the US Industrial Products Sector Leader for the M&A and Capital & Debt Advisory team of Ernst & Young Capital Advisors, LLC. With over 20 years of experience, he has completed over 100 transactions, including M&A exclusive sales, divestitures and carve-outs, joint ventures and general financial advisory assignments, as well as raising over $20 billion in lead managed equity and debt securities.

Prior to joining EY, John was Group Head of the Industrial Growth and Services Group at Oppenheimer & Company and head of U.S. diversified industrials at its predecessor firm CIBC World Markets.

John has a n MBA in Finance from Rice University and a BBA in Business Adminstration from the University of Houston. In addition, he has a Series 7 & 63 securities licenses.
