Creating a global brand
At age 28, Yonatan Bursztyn, Colombia’s 2012 Entrepreneur Of The Year winner, bought his first manufacturing enterprise. He traveled, learned about innovative materials and product development and realized that creating a global brand was critical.
His company, Nalsani SA, opened its first store for its brand — Totto — in 1989. In 1990, Yonatan launched a sportswear line and began international expansion. Today the company offers sophisticated technology in clothing, bags, briefcases and accessories with more than 400 stores in 22 countries.
