Andres Cardona always thought the road to entrepreneurship would be paved with years of business school. Instead, with the encouragement of his high school entrepreneurship teacher, who was a NFTE coach, he took a shot at entrepreneurship while still in high school.
Starting off small – with just a single one-on-one coaching client and charging only 70 cents an hour – Andres has built Elite Basketball Academy into a 120-plus customer business. He credits his NFTE coach for showing him the way by having a good business plan. Amy Rosen, CEO of NFTE also shares her insights on what makes a successful trep.
