Juan is a partner based in our Mexico City office and joined EY Mexico in 1996. He has more than 14 years of work experience, including providing acquisition advisory services for financial and strategic acquirers with a focus on Latin American markets.
Juan has wide experience in providing acquisition advisory services on cross-border transactions.
Juan worked for EY in Birmingham, UK and Miami, USA as a part of the international exchange program.
He has extensive due diligence experience in Latin America (Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Guatemala, México, Perú, Panamá, Puerto Rico and Ecuador). He has experience in different industry sectors.
Juan has performed projects for the multinational companies investing in México, USA, Europe and Lantin America. He has also has a broad auditing and accounting experience in Mexican companies and SEC client’s subsidiaries.
He is a Public Accountant graduated from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México and holds the Public Accountant Certification by the Mexican Institute of Public Accountants. Currently, he is a partner of Mexican Institute of Finance Executives in which he was the President of the Committee of New Businesses’ Development and Microfinance.

He has been supporting clients with acquisitions, due diligence, financing and IPOs.
