Tax treaty between Peru and Korea enters into force

The tax treaty between Peru and Korea entered into force on 3 March 2014, after Peru completed its ratification and notification process.

The tax treaty was approved on 27 December 2013, by the Peruvian Congress. The President ratified the tax treaty and notice was published in the Official Gazette on 27 February 2014.

Under Article 28 of the tax treaty, its provisions will be effective beginning the first day of January in the calendar year following that in which it enters into force.

Therefore, the tax treaty between Peru and Korea will be effective 1 January 2015.
