The Manx Insurance Association (MIA)
The Manx Insurance Association (MIA) was established to represent authorised life assurance companies based on the Isle of Man.
The objectives of the Association are:
- To provide a forum for discussion and exchange of views for all those involved in the life assurance industry on the Island
- To work closely with the IoM Government, in particular the Insurance and Pensions Authority, to promote change that will benefit the industry and to provide a collective view on matters affecting the industry
- To act as a link with the local community, schools and colleges of further education to develop awareness and understanding of the life assurance industry and to promote the development of the Isle of Man as a centre for life assurance companies.
- To raise the profile of the industry.
