Central to our CR focus is celebrating, supporting and serving entrepreneurship. This is done through our Entrepreneur Of The Year® programme which was founded on our commitment to promote an entrepreneurial culture in Ireland. Through our programme our CR strategic objectives are built around acclaim and education.
Acclaim:
To provide national and international recognition for Irish entrepreneurs and their companies. To create profile opportunities for valuable role models, who, in turn, foster enterprise in Ireland in the long term.
Executive Education:
To provide new learning opportunities for the entrepreneurial community and engage and inspire the next business generation. As a knowledge organisation, education and sharing knowledge is core to our efforts. Our annual CEO Retreat pushes boundaries in thought leadership and offers entrepreneurs access to leading business thinkers from globally renowned business schools. The programme has centred around the strategic value of CR and our finalists engaged in a series of initiatives to help local communities. Their efforts continue today.
School’s Programme:
Extending our message to second and third level students is of paramount importance to us which continues with our objective to promote a positive entrepreneurial culture in Ireland. In Ireland we respond to firm's global positioning by working closely with schools local to our offices. We facilitate a portfolio of workshops at each school designed to help equip Ireland's future business generation with skills and knowledge necessary to be successful in business. This learning has extended nationally through the distribution of a groundbreaking DVD series to all schools in our effort to promote and encourage entrepreneurship in Ireland amongst students. This has now been developed into an online resource – a tv channel bringing our visual case study offerings to a wider audience – www.eoy.tv Ernst & Young is constantly advancing the importance of excellent corporate citizenship – in our practices, our policies and in our global promotion of CR.
