What we do

The Ernst & Young Ireland transfer pricing team is linked into the Global Ernst & Young transfer pricing organisation and advises multi-national corporations on transfer pricing matters including:

· Design and support of transfer pricing policies,
· Documentation of all intercompany pricing, including, tangible goods, services, financial flows and intangible property,
· Advanced Pricing Agreements (“APAs”)
· Dispute resolution and competent authority claims arising generally from adjustments by overseas tax authorities to the transfer prices involving Ireland,
· Valuation of intellectual property for transfer pricing purposes,
· Transfer pricing issues arising out of business restructurings,
· Co-ordinating transfer pricing projects globally for Irish domestic companies and
· Optimisation of Ireland’s tax rate.

Transfer pricing continues to be an area of increased tax authority scrutiny especially in recessionary times to protect local tax bases and it is an issue that needs to be monitored continuously.
