Ernst & Young’s Transaction Support team assists clients across the entire transaction process. Working alongside colleagues in other Transaction Advisory Services service lines, we leverage our industry expertise to deliver an integrated Transaction Advisory Services solution combining global coverage with local knowledge.

We have built up extensive transaction experience, which combined with a depth of client and sector knowledge, ensures that we deliver valuable insights into the appropriateness of a transaction (from a risk and price perspective) and possible alternatives. We work alongside our clients to explore how value will be realised from the transaction, concentrating the investigation on what really drives value and presenting our findings in such a way as to make explicit the link between value, risk and price – in short, delivering the key transaction messages to management and deal financiers.

Whilst traditional financial due diligence is a key element of the service, transaction support is much broader, incorporating commercial due diligence, transaction management, negotiation and documentation, and post-completion integration.
