Dentsu acquires 51% stake in Taproot
Dentsu has acquired a 51% stake in a creative agency, Taproot, to increase its expanding footprint in India. The Indian agency has 33 full-time employees and has been looking for a strategic partner that will provide it with funding and expansion opportunities. Partnering with Dentsu will enable Taproot to offer a more comprehensive bouquet of services to their clients across larger market geographies. It will continue to operate independently under the management of its current leadership.1
