EMEIA leadership and management

Mark OttyMark Otty
Area Managing Partner
Mark ha ricoperto il ruolo di Area Managing Partner per il Nord Europa, il Medio Oriente, l'India e l'Africa (NEMIA) da luglio 2006 a giugno 2008. Mark ha origini sudafricane e durante la sua carriera ha avuto l'opportunità di conoscere numerose discipline e diverse sedi. E' entrato inizialmente a far parte dell'area audit di Ernst & Young, ha successivamente rivestito ruoli di leadership e supportato i clienti nelle divisioni Corporate Finance, Tax e Business Advisory in Sud Africa, Canada e UK.

Jay Nibbe

Jay Nibbe
Deputy Area Managing Partner / Markets
Jay ha inizialmente rivestito il ruolo di Americas Vice Chair – Tax per il settore Americas Tax, e prima ancora Americas Tax Managing Partner – Area Practices and Client Service. Durante quel periodo ha guidato l'implementazione della market strategy per il settore Tax, focalizzandosi sui priority accounts. Prima ancora Jay è stato Tax Managing Partner nella Sub-Area Mid-West. Ha una grande esperienza a livello internazionale, grazie anche al fatto di avere guidato per quattro anni il settore fiscale in Russia.

Pascal ha rivestito il ruolo di EMEIA Assurance leader e, precedentemente, ha ricoperto diversi ruoli tra cui Assurance & Advisory Business Services (AABS) leader per le Aree Continental Western Europe (CWE) e EMEIA.

Karen è stata People leader per l'Area Central Europe (CE) AABS e Ernst & Young Germany. E' stata membro del Global People Executive Committee dal 2003 al 2005 e ha contribuito a diversi progetti People a livello globale tra cui il Global Partner Performance Management, competency models e learning.

Olivier è stato recentemente il CWE Q&RM leader e membro del Q&RM Global Executive Committee. Ha lavorato per parecchi anni sia nell'area AABS che Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) fornendo supporto ai clienti nei diversi settori, tra cui oil and gas. Ha inoltre lavorato negli Stati Uniti.

Andy è entrato a far parte di Ernst & Young nel 2008 dopo una carriera in IBM dove rivestiva il ruolo di General Manager of Global Business Services per UK, Paesi Bassi, Medio Orientee Sud Africa e prima ancora Managing Partner di PwC Consulting in UK. Prima di assumere il suo attuale ruolo nel Novembre 2009 ha guidato il programma EMEIA Cost Synergies e ha lavorato in qualità di Senior Advisory Partner per due dei nostri più grandi clienti.

Felice è entrato a far parte di Ernst & Young nel 1986 e ha rivestito sia in Europa che negli Stati Uniti diversi ruoli tra cui quello di Assurance COO per l'Area EMEIA, Assurance leader per l'Italia e l'Area CWE e Sector leader per il settore Technology and Communication. Ha inoltre lavorato in qualità di Global Client Service Partner per diversi Office of the Chairman (OCA) e global accounts. In aggiunta all'attività di auditing, la sua esperienza si estende al settore transaction, IPO, IFRS conversion e SEC filings.

Il suo ruolo precedente è stato quello di EMEIA Strategic Growth Markets (SGM) Leader dove ha avviato diverse iniziative di successo, tra cui il programma "Passion to Win" con il settore Assurance e EMEIA EOY (Entrepreneur Of The Year) Forum. Julie ha una significativa esperienza nelle attività di IPO (initial public offerings) e nelle operazioni sul mercato di capitali, così come nel settore accounting and auditing, financial reporting e regulatory. E' molto impegnata sul mercato al servizio di grandi clienti come Siemens, Qiagen e Asklepios Kliniken.

Ajen è stato in passato Assurance leader per l'Africa e Head of Audit per il Sud Africa. E' entrato a far parte di Ernst & Young nel 1993, è stato nominato Partner nel 1999 e successivamente Entrepreneurial Services leader nel 2001.

Pieter è entrato in Ernst & Young nel 1982, è diventato Partner nel 1992 e ha lavorato come auditor per i maggiori clienti nazionali e internazionali. Nel 2003 è stato nominato Chairman of the Accountancy Partnership e membro del Board of Directors of Ernst & Young Netherlands. Ha rivestito il ruolo di AABS leader nell'Arear CE a partire dall'anno 2005 ed è attualmente Chief Operating Officer dell'EMEIA AABS Board.

Philip was previously Managing Partner for Africa and has extensive experience working in a multi-cultural and multi-country environment. He has personal experience in many of our service lines, and has worked with both very large and entrepreneurial clients, and is very engaged in developing productive relationships with governments.

Jean Pierre LetratreJean-Pierre Letartre

Jean-Pierre joined Ernst & Young in 1985. In 1986, he created the Lille office and has headed up the French Strategic Growth Market practice since 1994, becoming a board Director of Ernst & Young France in 2000 and of the SEE in 2005. He is a member of the MEDEF (French business association made up of the senior management of all top French firms). He also heads the Entrepreneur of the Year Award Programme in France and is co-founder of the French “Entrepreneur’s Day” Association.

Andy was previously AIBD leader for EMEIA FSO and has held a number of other leadership positions at Ernst & Young. He has also worked at Cap Gemini and IBM Consulting. Andy is directly involved with many of our OCA accounts.

Germany, Switzerland and Austria (GSA)
Formerly CE Client Service & Accounts (CS&A) leader, Georg joined Ernst & Young as Markets leader in 2002, and took over as CE CS&A leader in 2005. With extensive experience in the automotive and industrial and consumer products sectors, Georg currently serves in a Senior Advisory Partner capacity on several OCA and Global Priority Accounts.

Rajiv MemaniRajiv Memani
India
Rajiv is a qualified Chartered Accountant with experience in Assurance, Tax and Corporate Finance. He established Ernst & Young India's TAS practice in the late 1990s and, since 2002, Ernst & Young India has been named by Bloomberg as M&A leader in India based on number of transactions. Rajiv is affiliated with a number of prominent business and industry associations, including the World Economic Forum’s New Asian Leaders.

Donato IacovoneDonato Iacovone
Mediterranean
Donato joined the firm in 1984 as auditor in the Milan office, becoming Partner and Corporate Finance leader in 1996, and Partner in charge of the Public Sector in 1997. He led the Italian Business Advisory Services (BAS) practice from 2000 to 2005 before being named BAS leader of the former CWE Area from 2005 to 2008. Donato served as the Mediterranean Accounts & Business Development leader for two years prior to his recent appointment as Sub-Area Managing Partner. His industry experience includes extensive work in both power and utilities and government and public sectors and he is a member of the Italian C.P.A. Board and Associate of the Italian Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Abdulaziz Al-SowailimAbdulaziz Al-Sowailim
Middle East and North Africa (MENA)
For more than 20 years, Abdulaziz has provided assurance, tax and business advisory services to a range of private and public sector organisations in the financial services, energy, petrochemicals, manufacturing, trading and services sectors. He has long-standing relationships within the MENA business community and strong ties with the public and private sector in Saudi Arabia, the Sub-Area's largest market. Abdulaziz is Vice Chairman of the Saudi Accounting Association and a member of the Saudi Organisation of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He joined Ernst & Young’s Riyadh office in 1986 and was appointed Country Managing Partner for Saudi Arabia in 2009.

Nordics
Torstein is Managing Partner of Ernst & Young Norway and has been with the firm since 1975. As leader of the Norwegian practice Torstein has been very involved in developing and successfully implementing our People strategy.

Steve Varley

Steve Varley
UK & Ireland
Steve has 15 years of consulting experience and his expertise ranges from Aerospace and Defence to Pharmaceutical and Energy.
Prior to this role Steve was the UK&I Markets leader. responsible for executing EY's growth strategy across all service lines, priority sectors and regions of the business. He previously led the London Advisory business, which was formed in 2008. He joined Ernst & Young from Accenture in 2005 as the NEMIA Service Line Leader for BAS. Steve has worked on some of the largest UK&I accounts including the UK Home Office and National Grid.
