Dr. Jean-Paul Clozel of Switzerland was named as the Ernst & Young World Entrepreneur Of The Year 2008 at the climax of a glittering ceremony in Monte Carlo on 31 May 2008.

The next World Entrepreneur Of The Year event will take place from 28-31 May 2009 in Monte Carlo, Monaco.

The Ernst & Young Social Entrepreneur Of The Year award, presented in collaboration with the Schwab Foundation for Social Entrepreneurship and the World Economic Forum, celebrates innovative ideas and practices that use market forces to create economic and social change.
