IT department

IT Luxembourg is composed by three departments: End user services, Infrastructure and Application Engineering.

End User Support consists in delivering top quality service and IT solutions to the end users in a professional and timely manner.

Infrastructure consists in running and maintaining the network & servers to achieve 99,9% uptime for our users, and adopt a security policy that reduces the virus risk to absolute minimum.

• Network Desktop management
• Security

Application Engineering consists in developing top quality applications based on, and tailored to, our users' needs.

Marketing department

Our marketing department specializes in the following areas:

• Client & Internal events
• Sponsoring
• Publishing & editing (publications & newsletters)
• Maintenance of a client database for direct marketing & reporting
• Sales reporting
• Maintenance of our Luxembourg web site
• Visibility in professional web sites & directories
• Marketing Intranet
• Alumni program
• Visual identity & advertisements
• Press relationship

Human Resources department

Our Human Resources department is responsible for promoting and driving our firm's values as well as our People First Strategy and to build excellence of our organisation by:

• supporting the firms effort to attract and retain high-qualified people,
• contributing to the career development of our people,<:li>
• contributing to the establishment of an effective and inclusive work environment,
• managing employees' benefits and compensation.

Recruitment & Career:
Our recruitment and Career team is responsible for the recruitment process. In addition, the team manages the performance & development process in order to maintain our competitive advantage, to retain our people and to implement best practices.

Training:
Our Training department ensures that our people are provided with the necessary technical, industry and soft skills to meet the challenges of a constantly evolving market environment. Therefore, various training courses are offered within Ernst & Young. In addition to the core training curriculum a variety of traning courses are offered to meet the individual needs of our employees.

Finance department

The Finance Department has the following responsabilities:

• Manage efficiently the Management & Statutory accounting of the firm, provide our management with all the relevant financial information in order to take appropriate decision.
• Support the successful implementation and ongoing use of GFIS to meet users needs
• Implement all the necessary tools to meet all the needs
• Mentor, participate in the training of engagement administrators and technical staff to ensure they are able to carry out their roles in supporting and managing engagements efficiently
• Train and help people to use the new tools
• Ensure that best practices and key policies are followed and that significant issues are brought to the attention of the CFO, service line leaders and partners
• Actively solve any financial / accounting problem
• Contribute to the objectives of the CWEA Finance team
• Cash flow and cash collection management
