Soft controls On Thursday 9 February 2012, Ernst & Young organised the seventh edition of the annual Eye on Compliance event. This years' topic was ”Soft Controls”. The day was chaired by Angelique Keijsers, partner Fraud Investigations & Dispute Services / Compliance Services. Angelique opened the seminar by pointing out the increasing number of rules and regulations, the importance of self regulatory norms and how risks can be managed through hard and soft controls respectively.
