Ernst & Young makes significant promotions across the Channel Islands
32 promotions have recently been made effective from 1 October 2011 by Ernst & Young. In Guernsey within the tax department Dominic Rigby has progressed to director and Chris Bold, Margo Bourcier, Peter Gaunt, Tim Nicolle and Craig Preston have all been promoted to manager.
Mr Rigby works within the tax division and is a Chartered Tax Advisor (UK) and a Qualified Financial Advisor (Ireland). In his new role, Mr Rigby will be advising clients on new legislative changes such as FATCA and the impact of the UK REIT Consultation. Using his experience and the wider EMEIA network he is well positioned to provide the tax services sought by clients in the Channel Islands.
Andrew Dann, managing partner of Ernst & Young Channel Islands, congratulated the group on their individual success and the valuable contribution they have made to the firm’s overall performance throughout the financial year.
“At Ernst & Young we are very focused on team development, motivation and career progression.
The promotion of Dominic to director, and Chris Bold, Margo Bourcier, Peter Gaunt, Tim Nicolle and Craig Preston to manager is an excellent demonstration of the opportunities available at the firm. Whether it’s a long term secondment or travelling to meet clients, being part of Ernst & Young’s EMEIA 88 country network and the wider global firm provides a new dimension to career development for our people in the Channel Islands,” said Mr Dann.
