Ernst & Young stays competitive with ‘EY Insights’

Ernst & Young has launched a free customised application (app) which provides thought leadership material available on mobile devices operating on the iOS (iPhone/iPad) and Android Platforms.

Designed for clients on the move, the mobile app provides a new and easy way to read up on prominent Ernst & Young material, making best use of travel time when on the road, in airport lounges, or on a plane.

The app includes access to up to date studies and surveys, articles, global reports, as well as service line and sector information.

With more business executives adopting tablets such as the iPad and other mobile devices, Ernst & Young’s Channel Islands Partner, Andrew Dann, says that keeping up with social networking trends has become more important than ever before.

“With the new app, you have access to material produced by some of the 152,000 Ernst & Young staff in 140 countries around the world, providing a global perspective on the key issues, whatever your industry or location.  The content on the app is a selection of our latest and globally relevant thought leadership on topics of greatest interest in today’s markets” said Mr Dann.

The app content is organised by two drop-down lists; ‘Topics’ and ‘Industries’ and will be used by employees and clients alike to share, download and view Ernst & Young’s global insights online. The app is free to download from iTunes for iPad and iPhone users or from the Google Android market for Android devices. It can be found by typing ‘Ernst & Young Insights’ as the search term, where  simple instructions guide the user through the download process.

The EY Insights app is designed with simplicity in mind, and contains a bookshelf for downloading content as well as the ability to annotate and bookmark.  The materials may be viewed online – or offline, once downloaded into your “Library” on the mobile device.
