Doing business in India

Oslo

Date: 21. juni 2012
Time: 09.00-15.00

The seminar will cover specific regulations and business economics in India, in addition to direct attention to cultural, communicative, and business process related challenges that you necessarily must be addressing when doing business in India.

India has seen a systematic transition from being a closed to an open economy since the beginning of economic reforms in the country in 1991. These reforms have had a far-reaching impact and have unleashed its enormous growth potential. India has grown to become a trillion dollar economy and a very important market for Nordic companies.

Topics covered will include

  • Investment climate and foreign trade
  • Cultural, communicative, and business process related challenges that you necessarily must be addressing when doing business in India
  • Economic laws and regulations
  • Financial reporting and auditing
  • Taxes
