Creating knowledge

Auckland Business School logo

With the University of Auckland Business School, we share a mission to deliver outstanding value to New Zealand's business community. Our major education partnership is the University of Auckland Business School's Ernst & Young Chair in Financial Accounting, established in 2005.

The Business School is working at the forefront of new thinking about business in the sectors of future importance to New Zealand. The Chair in Financial Accounting will champion knowledge and innovation within the School, benefiting our community's future and current business leaders.

Schools and students

We invest in the talented youth of New Zealand through our Volunteer Engagement Program in five low-decile secondary schools.

Sir Edmund Hillary Collegiate School (Auckland)
Wainuiomata High School (Wellington)
Hornby High School (Christchurch)

Since 2000, every year our staff have mentored around 65 top academic students in years 12 and 13 in each school. In 2010 we had 98% of our mentored students enrol in, and get accepted into tertiary education, the highest result in the 10 years the programme has run.

If you wish to apply for this programme, you must do so through your school. If you would like to know more, Query about Volunteer Engagement Programme .
