Kimberley Crook


Kimberley is a partner in EY’s Financial Accounting Advisory Services. She provides advice on the application of accounting standards across a range of technical issues and industry sectors.

Previous experience

Kimberley has provided accounting advice and training to a wide spectrum of clients, ranging from public listed companies, large state-owned enterprises, private companies, public sector entities and private not-for-profit entities. Kimberley is a regular presenter at conferences and EY seminars on financial reporting issues.


Kimberley is Chair of the New Zealand Accounting Standards Board and a member of the Australian Accounting Standards Board. Previously, she worked for the International Accounting Standards Board in London and other accounting standard-setting bodies in the UK and New Zealand. Kimberley holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Master of Commerce (1st Class Honours), both from Canterbury University. She is a Fellow of the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants.
