Peter is the national leader of EY’s Valuations & Business Modelling practice. He leads a team of corporate finance specialists providing sophisticated financial modelling solutions, and a wide range of advisory services on matters impacting on businesses value, including cost of capital, capital structure, business valuations and intangible asset valuations.
Peter has over 25 years' experience, including 12 years as a partner focusing primarily on corporate finance advisory services, and 10 years as an economist in the New Zealand Treasury, where he worked on major tax reform initiatives. Peter’s experience spans a wide range of sectors, with a particular focus on agribusiness.
Peter holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and accounting, a first class honours degree in economics from Victoria University, and a Masters of Public Administration from Harvard University.
Peter’s interests include travel, wine and food, and skiing with his three children.
