Global Mobility

Many global mobility professionals are facing changing markets and increasing corporate demands. The global mobility function is affected by external forces such as tax, social security and immigration compliance as well as internal forces on cost reductions, operational effectiveness and efficiency. Ernst & Young's 2007-08 survey (pdf, 216kb) results indicate that in terms of staffing, today’s global mobility function is considered as either just right or understaffed.
