The Ernst & Young Foundation - Ernst & Young - Poland

The mission of the Ernst & Young Foundation is to support foster parenting by providing comprehensive assistance to carers and children in foster families and family children’s homes.

We believe that even the most modest support can gradually turn a hard and painful childhood into one that is safe and full of hope for the future.

Our work for orphaned children and young people promotes their emotional, intellectual and social development. Also, we help carers gain the knowledge and skills they need to fulfill their duties effectively.

We strive to create a programme that is adapted to the beneficiaries’ needs, which is why we base our work on the experience of foster families, non-governmental organizations and a range of specialists.

We run around 16 projects a year in 4 areas:  psychological support, education, financial and material support as well as promotion of the idea of foster parenting. The Foundation engages around 200 volunteers.
