Duleep Aluwihare

Duleep Aluwihare

Managing Partner, Ernst & Young Poland

Prior to his present position he was Managing Partner of the Polish branch of Arthur Andersen. The assignments supervised by Duleep Aluwihare range from projects carried out for the government and the Ministry of Finance to domestic and international enterprises operating in the Polish market. Duleep Aluwihare graduated with first class honours from London School of Economics in 1979, with a degree in Economics. Duleep is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

 

Jacek Hryniuk

Jacek Hryniuk

Managing Partner, Assurance

Jacek Hryniuk graduated from Warsaw University of Technology and is a member of Chartered Accountants Associations in Great Britain and in Poland. He is also a member of Accounting Standards Committee of the Polish Ministry of Finance as well as a member of the International Cooperation Council of the Polish Chartered Accountants Association.

 

Neil Hughes

Neil Hughes

Country COO, head of Q&RM Poland and Assurance PPD

Neil Hughes is also responsible for Industry Assurance Group (IAG) within the Assurance Practice. Neil Hughes holds a Bachelor of Science degree (B.Sc.) and he is a member of ACCA. He is Poland Client Service Executive Partner serving OCAs and real estate industries, focusing on IFRS.

Piotr Piela

Partner, Performance Improvement, Business Advisory Department, Head of Energy Group

He started his professional career with Arthur Andersen in 1995. For over 14 years he has been advising the biggest Polish and international companies from the energy industry.

Graduated with distinction, Warsaw University of Technology; postgraduate studies in Real Estate Valuation, Warsaw University of Technology; postgraduate program in Management, Harvard Business School. Pticipated in numerous trainings organized by IMD, Oxford and Princeton; Polish Chartered Accountant; speaker at training sessions and conferences devoted to financial issues within the energy sector.

 

Jacek Kędzior

Jacek Kędzior

Managing Partner, Tax Advisory Services

Jacek Kędzior has 13 years of experience in tax and business advisory. He specializes in tax proceeding and his professional experiences include representing clients before tax authorities and courts as well as consulting during transactions involving restructuring of international companies. Jacek graduated from the Law and Administration Faculty, Jagiellonian University in Cracov, he also studied at the University of Edinburgh and the University of Antwerp. In 2007 he completed the Advanced Management Program organized by IESE Business School at University of Navarra in Barcelona. 

 

Brendan OMahony

Brendan O'Mahony

Managing Partner, Transaction Advisory Services

Brendan O'Mahony has 15 years of experience with Ernst & Young in Poland and Ireland. He has considerable experience working with industry experts, tax, legal operations and technology and other specialists, and has also coordinated cross border projects in order to provide a fully integrated transaction support service. He is a fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants in Ireland. 

 

Iwona Kozera

Financial Services Industry, Country Leader

Iwona Kozera has broad experience in the financial sector. Previously a Partner in the Assurance Financial Services Department and Business Advisory Department at Arthur Andersen and a Director in the Process Risk Department. She graduated from the Warsaw University of Technology. She is a Polish Certified Auditor, Certified Internal Auditor and Certified Fraud Examiner. She is a member of ACCA (Fellow Status) and of the National Chamber of Statutory Auditors.

 

Marcin Jurczak

Managing Partner, Accounting Services

Marcin Jurczak graduated from Harvard Business School and UKSW in Warsaw. He specializes in structuring and optimizing outsourcing processes for payroll, bookkeeping and tax compliance functions.  Having more than 10 years of experience in serving for global companies, he leads a team providing services to almost 200 clients. He has also published in Harvard Business Review Polska magazine.

 

Leszek Lerch

Leszek Lerch

Managing Partner, Regional Offices Katowice and Krakow

Leszek Lerch specialises in verifying financial statements and business advisory for production and trade companies. He holds a Master of Science degree in Economics from Katowice University and is a member of ACCA and the  Polish Charted Accountants Association.


 

Krzysztof Sachs


Krzysztof Sachs

Managing Partner, Regional Office Wroclaw

Krzysztof Sachs specializes in on-going tax consulting (specifically VAT issues); tax planning and tax risk management advisory services (including development of tax procedures); comprehensive tax reviews. 

Krzysztof Sachs holds a Master of Science Degree for which he qualified at the Warsaw School of Economics.

Partner in the Audit Department of Ernst & Young International. Has a broad experience in auditing financial statements prepared according to Polish and International Accounting Standards. He holds a Master of Science degree in Economics from Poznan University and is a member of ACCA as well as a Polish Charted Accountant.

 

Marinos Athanassiou


Marinos Athanassiou

Managing Director, Academy of Business

Marinos Athanassiou has established and developed Ernst & Young Academy of Business. He is also the co-author of training products in Finance and Economics. Marinos holds an MA degree from Reading University; he also lectured in Economics and Finance in the Business section of the Grammar Institute, Nicosia.

Ernst & Young announced that its Global Executive and the Global Advisory Council approved the proposed integration of all of its 87 country practices in Western and Eastern Europe, the Middle East, India and Africa into a new EMEIA Area.
