Silesia is undoubtedly one of the most interesting areas in Poland and Europe. This is a unique and diverse region whose potential is worth discovering. Silesia creates 13.3% of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP), which gives the voivodeship the second position in Poland. GDP per capita equals 27.8 thousand and is higher than the national average by 2.000 PLN. The region’s metallurgical industry is one of the most modern and effective in the world, while its energy sector places Poland among few EU countries whose energy safety is based on its own natural fuel reserves.
